Inkana Support
Support provider: Inimasolution
Inkana is a writing-first Japanese learning app for kana, words, grammar, and sentences.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Starting a new subscription requires Sign in with Apple in Inkana before the App Store purchase step. Restoring a purchase does not require Inkana sign-in: use Settings → Subscription → Restore purchase with the same App Store account used for the purchase.
To view, change, or cancel an auto-renewable subscription, open Manage Apple subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewal; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
Account Sync and Deletion
Apple sign-in syncs learning progress and settings between devices, and is required only when starting a new subscription. To sign out, open Settings → Account → Sign out. To delete your Inkana account and its server-saved sync data, open Settings → Dangerous actions → Delete account and confirm the request.
Deleting an Inkana account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately through Apple before deleting your account if you do not want it to renew.
Handwriting-Data Sharing
Handwriting-data sharing is optional. To stop future uploads, turn it off in Settings → Learning data.
Feedback
To send a bug report, inconvenience, or improvement idea, open Settings → Help → Send feedback. Feedback is optional and does not require sign-in. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
Common Issues
- Ordinary study, writing practice, recognition, quizzes, and local progress work on-device after installation.
- Apple sign-in, account sync, purchase restoration, account deletion, and optional handwriting-data sharing require an internet connection.
- Handwriting scoring is a learning aid and can vary with character size, stroke position, and input conditions.
